day porter services

What Is Day Porter?

Day porters are responsible to keep your building clean, but they also help support the image of your facility and ensure that customers and employees are satisfied. Different incidents may happen during the regular work schedule, like mud from a rainy day, water spills at break-rooms or bathrooms, or even coffee spills in your lobby or hallways; day porters are available to assist you with any cleaning needs during your regular workday.

Day porter duties and responsibilities vary upon each facility needs and facility manager’s request.

Day porter duties include the following:

  • Clean all common areas including the kitchen, cafeteria, lobby, and break room
  • Monitor, clean, and service restrooms
  • Remove trash
  • Restock supplies in restroom and break room
  • Dust, clean, and sanitized all high touch areas
